- A Wooden Dowel
- Circle Saw
- Rope or Thick Twine
- A knob
- Ruler
- Drill with Large Drill Bit
- Scissors
- Circular Command Strip
Step by Step Instructions
1. First and foremost: pet the cute dog that wants to help you with your DIY project. Thank him for his help.
2. Now, begin by your taking your dowel and cutting it down to be six inches long. Please take care using the power tools and follow proper safety precautions.
3. Sand the sides of the dowel to remove any rough edges.
4. Mark a half-inch in from the ends on each side of the dowel and drill a hole using a large drill bit. Make sure the holes are drilled parallel to each other.
5. Cut two eight-inch pieces of rope. Tie a slipknot on one side of each of them. Slip one through each hole on the dowel.
6. Following the instructions on the circular command Strip, attach one side to the knob. Attach the knob to your desired location by the toilet.
7. Tie a knot on the other side of each rope and pull apart the strands right below the knot to create a hole large enough for the knot to fit through.
8. Put one side over the knob, put your toilet paper role onto the dowel, slip the other hole in the rope over the knob, and use!
