The Outdoor DIY Firewood Rack is the perfect Saturday afternoon project so your bonfire on Saturday night will be even better. Make it yourself with materials from Godwin by following these simple steps:
Supplies:
- Four 2-by-4s
- Sandpaper
- Corner Post Connectors
- Screws
- Ruler
- Circular Saw
- Screwdriver
Step by Step Instructions
1. Begin by cutting your 2-by-4s down with the circular saw. You should have six posts that are 24 inches long and two posts that are 12 inches long. Please cut posts with care and at your own risk.
2. Take four of your 24-inch pieces of wood and measure eight inches up from the bottom of each of them. Line the top of your corner post connectors to the eight-inch line.
3. Make sure all of your wood pieces fit into your connectors in the exact same way. This will minimize any difficulties in screwing your pieces together later.
4. It’s time to screw your side pieces in place! We recommend starting with the two 2-foot pieces and screwing both connectors on either end. Again, make sure you are placing your wood pieces in the same positions as their same length pieces.
5 Finish screwing the one-foot pieces to the connectors, creating a rectangle.
6. Set up and begin stacking your wood!
